Just wondering if its possible to do a fresh install of Vista Ultimate 64bit on the AW

I have a copy of Vista 64 and would like to install it on the notebook, but I'm worried that it may not work b/c sometimes the vendors put in certain things in their notebooks that prevent fresh OS installation.

also What Problems Could I expect From This Full Format And Installing Afresh Copy ?

Before installing, check Sony downloads section to make sure that Vista 64 Drivers are available for you model
You should download all and have them ready after you format and load Vista

I have the FW, but had some of the same concerns - here's the Sony site info: http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/support-info.pl?info_id=172
Helps define the order fro installing drivers.
Key point are the order of Sony Shared Library and Notebook Utilities (both of which make your functions keys work). Normally these are your last two drivers to install and in the order I listed above.
    Hope the info will assist.
