This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     BIOS & Bluetooth Firmware Installation Order

    On a brand new VGN-SZ780DN fresh out of the box, first thing I will do after fully charging overnight is flash to the latest firmwares before doing a clean install of W7 Pro 32 bit. The Sony eSupport site lists two "firmware type" updates:

    BIOS and Bluetooth.

    So does order of flashing matter? It's a risky process. Not sure which to do first.



    The Bluetooth update was released first if that matters :p

    What would you do first and why?
