Sony disables something in the BIOS that prevents the Intel Speedstep being used.

Is there any that can be done to enable the BIOS feature that will allow the use of the Intel Speedstep.

Wrong. I've never seen a Sony, besides the W/M netbooks, that didn't have SpeedStep. The reason the netbooks don't have SpeedStep is because that's not a feature of the Atom CPU architecture. The only thing about Sony's implementation is you can't disable SpeedStep in the BIOS.
