    Hi Guys,

I have just purchased a BZ12VN laptop and i'm very disappointed by the screen quality. The LCD has a very poor contrast and it looks very foggy. I'm comparing it with a Z11WN and the difference is fabulous. The Z's LCD has more vibrant colors and the contrast is a lot better?

Is there anyone with a BZ series laptop to confirm my opinion?

    Thanks!

hmm interesting, I would have assumed the BZ screen to be good since it is a business laptop. Unfortunately there were no BZ laptops at the sonystore here, so could not compare it to the others on display.

I don't understand, used in 1440 x 900 the screen is everything but foggy for me. And the contrast is also fine for my taste...

The BZ's screen, based on business customers feed back is still an XBRIGHT screen, but has a new coating on it to help with reflections that come with the ubiquitous fluorescent overhead lighting found in the business work place. I know that was my largest complaint working on a BX from day to day, was the reflections of the lights, and now it's largely gone with the new BZ screen. It's not the super screen you'll find on the Z or FW series, for sure, but I've been incredibly happy with the new BZ screen on my notebook.
