    If you buy a BZ model from cdw or who ever, can you purchase your extended warranty from sony? I was looking at there business site but they have no contact phone number or email info to contact to ask this, thx

    I was told, for my SZ, that I can buy an extended warranty anytime within 1 year of purchase of the laptop. (In Germany)

    As far as I'm aware extended warranty is just a piece of paper and I can't see why you couldn't buy extended warranty at another shop.

    You can purchase an extended warranty from sony directly even if purchased on a different store you can contact sony's extended warranty sales dept. at these phone number 866-766-9259
