    Hi,
    Has anyone thought of a back lighted keyboard mod for the older Z? I looked at the newer Z and thought the layout looks pretty much identical to the old one. Hope someone will contribute their knowledge to get this to work.

    Even if you managed to swap the keboard (highly doubt you can) your z still doesn't have the ambient light sensor, nor does your bios or version of sony event service support a backlit keyboard.

    I think a flashlight is going to be the only way to go.

    There are nifty USB-powered flexible neck LED lights too :)
