I have searched this forum and i can't seem to find a decent response to this question:

Does anyone have a good backpack for the SZ? There doesn't seem to be any 13.3" compatible backpacks out there. I need it to be nice and snug for bombin around campus as well as weather proof for rain.

    Thanks for you help.

I would say that Zero shock cases from Elecom are good products for the protection of you laptop. I would strongly recommend the model bm006BK, you Vaio sz2xx or sz3xx will perfectly fits inside this case.

You can buy it on ebay, simply search: bm006BK
The vendor tenitiki is located in Japan... And this japanese product can be shipped worldwide.

Made with very high quality material. Polyurethane foam, it absorbs shock and you notebook is fully protected.

    Best regrads,

HANDS DOWN AWESOME PACK, color coordinated and fits the sz great, even keeps it up a few inches for extra shock protection. It is sooooo perfect and way less cheesy than any 'computer pack' from sony etc.

Silver/grey interior pockets like your sz yo! This one is listed as black and red, but you can get it in black with silver stitch and grey interior cuz I have it!

I have mine in a Kathmandu hiking bag...silver and black...i like the look and the amount of padding it has...plus the fact that it's not so conspicuous is a plus for me as well...

I'm also in the same boat, but I was looking at the Ogio backpacks. I've settled on two decisions: the Ogio Metro, and Ogio Metroid, and am torn between the two because they're pretty similar. I've also considered the Ogio Immix, but it's not on eBags.com so I don't have any access to photos of the inside and whatnot.

Does anybody know how the SZ fits in the laptop compartment of Ogio packs? I don't mind buying a neoprene sleeve for my precious, as the Vaio sleeve it comes with doesn't seem to offer much protection except to keep it warm (as if it needs to get any warmer than it already does...ugh). Also, I've been doing lots of research on this forum, and have read about one person having his laptop scratched by the zippers from the inside of the pack. Once again, I don't mind getting a neoprene case for my lappy. Thanks in advance!

personally I just ordered an ogio metro for my sz. I'm also looking for a zeroshock III, but they're pretty hard to find without paying a ton of shipping costs. Anyone know a place I can buy a zeroshock 13.3 case? (I'm in Canada).

Well, I ended up buying the Ogio Metroid, and it's nothing short of awesome. I was thinking of the Zeroshock, but I stumbled upon the Sumdex Impactguard and thought it might be handy sometimes to have handles to carry it around, without adding anymore bulk to it. Does anybody know how either the Shinza or Sumdex will fit in the laptop compartment of an Ogio backpack?
