A new machine, VGN CR220E, Vista Home Premium.
As common, today, no Backup / restore disks.
(or any other software and/or manual)

I was told one can make one (CD-ROM or DVD)
    I'll like to.

Also, I don't see Outlook Express.

    Any advise?
    Thanks,
    Uzidengineer,

Click on Windows orb(previously start button in xp),then all programs, then vaio recovery center and then choose Create recovery Discs. You will need two 4.7 GB dvds or 1 double layer dvd.

    FYI,

Don't know about all Sony's, but I don't think my FZ recommends dual layered. Also, had bad luck with Memorex DVD-R. Using Verbatim or Sony DVD+R.

Outlook express is replaced by Windows Mail in vista.

I made 3 copies on 3 different brands of DVD's on my FZ285 with BD burner.

I got errors with TDK +R and Verbatim -R.

    Fujifilm +R worked.

Don't use DL - not supported at least on my FZ.
