I have a Sony Vaio VPCEH. On installing Windows 7 Professional, and its drivers, it gives the error 'The installed Battery may not be properly connected to the Computer or may not be compatible with the Computer'.

How can I not install a new Windows 7 professional and related drivers, if this is because of this installation. Any help available...

A couple months ago I had a similar problem on my Sony laptop....
If you are running Sony's Power Management software; try disabling the program and see if the problem goes away. That was what worked for me.

Did you install Battery Checker from support site? It may be part of Notebook Untilities for your model.
