    Hey,

I unplugged my VAIO c140g today and the notebook just turned off. Then I noticed the battery charge light doesn't even blink in any way. It doesn't blink when PC is on, doesn't blink when off either.

So it looks like the computer can't recognize the battery anymore. Is my battery dead? Is there a solution to this?

    Thanks.

Sounds like the batterys dead. Detatch it and re-attatch it etc. (all the typical stuff) and failing that, which it most likely will, buy a new one or get it replaced under warranty.
