Hi everyone, I have Vaio VGN-SZ23GP and now its 16 Months old. Last week I noticed that Battery Discharging when it was connected to AC Outlet which was very weird. I disconnect AC and saw Power Meter shows Battery is Full and then I start working (not Process intensive, Just browsing Internet and It was on SPEED Mode) and after 30 Minutes it goes to Sleep! So I start Searching Internet to find out what is problem. I read some forum about Flashing Bios to get rid of Vaio Battery charging problem, so I did. Now when Its connected to AC and Battery is full it doesn’t show anymore (AC 100% Charging) it’s show only AC 100%.
Anyway the problem is still there. I emptied battery last night (even last 2% power by keeping laptop on in Bios Setup) and connect to AC for 8 Hours. Nothing changed. Laptop stands for last 40 minutes and then it goes to sleep!
It was on Speed mode and Idle.

Do you think battery is drain or there is problem with Laptop itself? Shall I replace battery with new one or shall I go fot Vaio Service ? (It's now out of warrenty)
