    battery problems

    I just reinstalled a new copy of windows, and downloaded all the drivers from sony web site and everything seemed to be ok untill i unpluged the power.

    If i try to switch from power plugin to battery and viceversa, a blue screen appears that doesn't give me the time to read and then windows restars.

    After it restarts it works fine even with battery, but when I plugin the power it restarts again.

    Any ideas of what could be wrong? What software or driver could be missing?

    I got a Vaio VGN-SZ340

    The SZ can be configured to perform several actions during power plug/unplug. Under VAIO Power Management, try setting it to not do anything and see if the problem goes away.
