    I'm looking at the FZ and SZ models with core 2 duo processors.

    I don't think either of them last for much more than 2 hours. As a result, I'd have to purchase the extended life battery. I can't seem to find out how long the extended life battery lasts for or how much it weighs. Does it protrude from either model?

    Eh? I've got a SZ4MN/b, 4/8 brightness, power saver mode, on wi-fi - I get about ~4hrs. :) On Standard battery.
