I have an SZ230P/B that was fully charged and then disconnected from AC adapter for 5 day and sat unused during that time. When I booted the system the battery level had dissipated to 67%.

    Is this normal?

If it was in "stand-by" mode instead of completely turned off, you'd still be using battery. Otherwise, there's something going wrong.

Yuppers. I think I started it (the other threads) its a known issues with all sz (I would say 95%, 5% are those saying they haven't noticed)
I'm willing to say its most Sony's as I had this problem with other Sony's too.
