    Battery life on new SZ780?

    i don't think battery performance is change. its a mild makeover not much more.

    I dont know for sure but I would assume they will be very similar to the SZ6 series...which, for the premium models, would be 3-6 hours on standard battery, and up to 8 hours with extended battery.

    Since it's running on Penryn, but still has the x3100 and 8400 option, I doubt it will be much better than the 650.

    the processor will be slightly more efficient, but the previous posters are correct

    Yes, the extended battery is bigger. It sticks out the back a bit, and lifts the laptop which allows for better air flow.
