    Battery status in SONY VAIO FE

    I noticed the following in my sony vaio FE machine.

    1.When the battery is charging , the battery indicator LED blinks.Battery powermeter also shows the status as charging.

    2. After the battery is charged about 80 %, the blinking of LED stops but powermeter continues to show "charging" till it is 100 % charged.

    Is this phenomenon normal ?
