Realize that as part of the warranty and support you could be required to:
    1. Erase your hard drive and reload the OS- Sony will not provide ANY assistance with recovering, saving, identifying, or backing up your data.
    2. Send the system in for service which may require you to be without the system for 2 weeks or more.

Your system will never be replaced sight unseen. Replacement of systems ONLY happens IF you send the system in for service FIRST and service management does a review of your case history and decides that you need a replacement. Then and only then a replacement is shipped.

Hmm...is this from personal experience? Bad experience? Or just experience?

I ask only because Sony is pushing the fact that they were recently ranked number one for service.
