This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     fan noise under speed mode is noticeable, but quiet when you do usual things like internet and word. It's when it's under heavy load that fan will go nuts.

    Under stamina mode, the fan is almost silent to low humming when you do usual things, so it's perfectly fine to use in the library. Under heavy load, it much more noticeable, but I still think it's acceptable if you need to use it in a library.
