It is good when you tend to shop at one store a lot and that store has a nice rewards program :) I can't tell you how many reward zone dollars I have used over the years, but probably at least $300. If it can be bought at Best Buy, I normally try to buy it from there. Plus they price match, so I don't have to worry about getting ripped off on the price. Now that I know about Bing.com it is even better, who can pass up another 5% off :)

Even I was amazed that they were selling this PC $200 cheaper than SonyStyle. That is too good to pass up.

Yes, your local Sony Style store would do a price match to BestBuy. :) There are a few fellow members who have done just that. :)

However, if you're going to get that model, VPCZ112GX/S, isn't it a better deal to get it from BestBuy instead of SonyStyle since you'll be be able to get Bing cashback & Rewards Zone points?

I want to confirm with someone that the SSD that Sony use on the Z is not standard right?

Can the Sony SSD do Trim?

It is not standard correct, it is a little thinner as part of the design (proprietary).
As for trim it is not support the newest driver have some performance improvement but no support for ssd and raid.
