new to this forum but i just purchased a vaio sz110b that is coming in tonight and i wanted to go ahead and reinstall windows. i know there are two threads going on about how to do a clean or semi clean install. the first one is the one i think i want to do because i want a clean version of xp pro on it.

that link shows a clean install for xp pro for a system that came equipped with xp pro already. if im trying to put xp pro into my sz110b would i get into trouble because the drivers on sonys website is made for xp home edition? thats the method im hoping to do since i want xp pro. if not i will try this method of a semi clean install covered on this thread

You've said it all there. Just try both methods and report us back on what'd find. I'll try to do this as well on my SZ110 tomorrow.
