Lately I've been pushing my Z13 to the limits by simultaneously conducting several disk-intensive tasks. Just then I've tried to extract files from a 16 GB ISO, merge and extract RAR files together, and converting 720p AVI videos to MP4 at the same time. The system virtually collapsed and there was very evident lag even when trying to open "My documents". Am I overusing the drive too much and are there any programs to improve SSD performance (or stop it from degrading that much, rather)?

^Your disk was just (quite) busy. You aren't doing anything wrong.
