I have tried to install this driver I get the following:

"The NVIDIA setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware . Setup will now exit."

I'm having problems with Bioshock too. I have an fz4000 series laptop with a 2.4 core 2 duo, 4 gb of ram and an nvidia 8400m gt graphics card... in other words I have everything I'm supposed to need. however, I can't find a download for the driver listed above... nvidia's site tells me I have to get my drivers through sony... is there any way around this?

Download a modded driver from laptopvideo2go.com and also(very important) download the modded inf aswell.

This is what i'm using right now:

You'll need to extract the file to a folder on your desktop, drop the inf into the folder and overwrite the old one when prompted, then run the installer.
You'll probably be able to run the game on high settings.
