I was all set to buy a Vaio FZ180 and then I started reading how difficult it is to remove all the bloatware ect. Doing this was pretty easy on my Dell. Is there lots of truth to this with Sonys?

I have a vaio and I didn't have too much trouble removing it all but after I had removed everything I realised I couldn't use the volume controls on the front so I had to re-install some of the crap but only a small proportion.

I did at first "semi clean install" but here you loose apps such as WinDVD and Easy media creator. So I did complete recovery and unistalled all the crapware manually. Now my SZ450 is clean and functional.
