Ive just got a VGN AR 590e, and I've no idea what I've done but I've lost the drive for operating the blu ray/CD Rom, all i know its an mat****a bd-mlt uj-220s ata device but there is a yellow on the icon when I look at the device manager and I have no idea what that means and how to restore - at the moment I cannot watch films (BD or DVD) or listen to CDs.

    Can anyone help?

Go to the search box at the top of the page type "DVD registry Vista" without the quotes. The issue is most likely the presence of some extra entries in the registry installed by third party cd/dvd burning software.
