I have a VGN-NS190J Sony VAIO with Windows Vista 64 bit. It is supposed to be able to play blu-ray movies, but whenever I put one in, it cannot be read. The laptop can't detect it.

Did your laptop come with Vista 64bit or did you upgrade? What is the drive model number?

My laptop came with Vista 64bit. I'm not familiar with all computer terms yet haha, what's a drive model number?

I just did a system restore, however I still have the same problem. CD's and DVD's work fine, but whenever I insert a Blu ray disc, my laptop does not even recognize a disc.
