Just got both X-Files BD disc releases and they will not play on my FW190. I get a screen saying I need a player upgrade.

    Anyone experience this??

I'm still using the WinDVD software that came on the machine. I'm assuming it's a software issue right? Surely, it's not a drive issue.

    Any thoughts/suggestions would be appreciated...

There was a WinDVD software update for my FW290 in December on the Sony website? Have you checked the support downloads for the 190?

    Cheers,
