I just got a new Sony TZ190 a couple weeks ago and it's working fine except for one thing. Once in awhile, this blue screen will pop up that says Windows is shutting down to prevent your computer from further damage. It says something about running a diagnostic test to test my memory and then the computer just restarts it self. Everything is fine after that but it is so annoying how it just restarts right when I'm in the middle of something! Does anyone else have this problem?
Also what can I go to to stop some of my programs from running at startup? The computer came with so much crapware and I've deleted some of it but I'm scared to delete anything else. I don't want to uninstall something important. So if someone who has the same model as I have could give me a list of programs I can uninstall, that'd be great! Thanks!

Run memtest on your RAM to check if it's hardware failure, otherwise, a clean install might be your best option at this point, esp. since you have bloatware problems too.
Check startup in msconfig, you can turn every startup option off if you want to, but I would recommend allowing AV and AS to run at boot-up. -
Thanks, but how do I run memtest?
And what is AV and AS? -
Memtest. Download, left column.
AV=Antivirus
AS=Antispyware -
Here is also a guide that shows how to test your RAM with Memtest86+

After the memory testing I would suggest that you look thorough the Vista performance and reliability patches (assuming you are running Vista).
