I am at a loss with computers
This one is relatively new, bought a few months ago and has recently.. (in the last few weeks) started showing the blue screen of death citing Kernal data inpage errors.
I'm using Windows 8 so there doesnt seem to be anymore information on the page I can talk about but I have discovered the frequency seems to increase after I wake up the laptop from hibernation (I have a bad habit of never actually shutting it down) and more often, it seems to freeze after a period of inactivity from me to produce BSOD
Anyone have anyways to figure out whats going on?
    Please and thank you guys

Full hardware configuration please, preferably with attached log or screenshots of the error.

    Sony VAIO E1515.5" 500GB
The error is just a typical windows 8 smiley face saying there was a problem with the laptop, that I should restart after they have finished getting data for an error report (shows % completion of retrieiving data for error report)
Not sure how i can get logs, or mini dumps (heard about this on other forums)?
Sorry! complete noob here, please give me basic instructions for windows 8 format for logs etc
    Thanks for the reply
