When I close the lid of my Vaio SZ650 while it is connected to a Sony docking station, the laptop appropriately powers down to sleep. However, when I open the lid again, I immediately see a "blue screen of death" (BSOD) reporting BAD_POOL_CALLER (0x000000c2). I am using Windows Vista Business.

If I close and open the lid when NOT docked to the docking station, everything works properly and the system resumes from sleep without the blue error screen.

Any idea why the laptop cannot resume from sleep properly when connected to the docking station?

Can anyone with a Sony docking station confirm that they do NOT get this blue screen error when resuming from sleep ?
