Hey guys. I have a Sony HBH-IS800 and I want to pair it with my Vaio Z but have had zero luck with trying different bluetooth drivers.

Most posts I've read mention that they can at least see their bluetooth headset as a device when they try to pair it but mine doesn't show up period. I know my headset works with my phone and I know my Vaio's bluetooth works with other devices... any suggestions? And thanks for your time.

Try updating your BT stack. If it's an ALPS module, it's going to be a Broadcom reference, so the Broadcom stack will work. *Try here.*

I have been trying to sink up my Motorola Bluetooth headphones with no success. I have installed the latest Broadcom stack, but that has made no difference.

What is odd is that the device shows up in the Bluetooth devices, but when I click on the device I get an error "An error occurred when initializing this operation. Try restarting this computer and/or your bluetooth device".

My bluetooth mouse sinks up fine, but I can get either of my Motorola S9 or HD-S9 headsets to sink. They sink up fine with my first generation Z.

    Thanks inadvance!

Hey XGX2007, thanks for the advice! The program you sent didn't work because it couldn't detect my internal bluetooth at first but after doing a system restore, it worked - and now everything works. Thanks a bunch!

I think I use the WIDCOMM Bluetooth Software (at least that's what is showing up in my Programs list). I had some trouble before, primarily because it looks like there are a bunch of screens I need to tweak in. Above's the picture of all the screens I had to work with, hope it helps...

Edit: Apparently the window on the upper-right needs to be open, without which the connection will break...
