Hey Guys! Can u Help with this one.

Downgraded using the disks from Sony. After running the disks, still had to install AV mode and Smart WIFI, and Vaio power from the web site... Those work well. The problem is bluetooth.. Tried connectig my bluetooth cell phone .. It saw the phone , paired up but didn't install it as a bluetooth modem.. Tried installing the 3 bluetooth files from the web site. The sony site does say the Broadcom stack will no work... Has anyone had any success with this? Dan

What phone do you have? Are you trying to install it as a modem or tether the phone via bluetooth? You may want to try the toshiba bluetooth stack or the microsoft bluetooth stack. I have an ATT tilt and can connect to my laptop via bluetooth with no problem in XP. But again I am using the tethering option which is different from bluetooth modem.

    A little confusion,

My problem isn't with operating and pairing bluetooth. Before I downgraded to XP, I had no problem pairing and using my phone in VISTA. I think there might be some missing downloads for getting the bluetooth to work completely with the downgraded XP...

Is anyone having any bluetooth issues after downgrading to XP? Dan
