I decided to do a clean-install of windows vista ultimate on my new Sony SZ650. Unfortunately, I have two problems that i have been unable to solve.

    1. My toshiba bluetooth stack has "expired". I downloaded the toshiba utility off of the sony site but it seems to expire after 30 days. How do I fix this?

    2. I can't seem to find where to download the fingerprint software. I ahve the driver, just no software to make it do anything useful.

Please help, i've tried to search the forum but can't seem to find the answers

There is a site to download the WIDCOMM stack from -- I would highly recommend that instead -- try searching on google for it
-- though it is kind of a pain to install it, it is worth it (more features, more reliable stack)
-- I think there is a post on this forum about installing XP drivers -- that has the widcomm stack in it (works with vista) -- I think I put a comment on there about how to get the stack working with vista

You can download drivers and software usually from the sony support site -- did you try searching that?
