    Hello guys,
I have a Sony Vaio FZ180-e and it comes with a bluray drive.
Few days ago I came to Nice (south of France) And when I
put a cd into the drive it was not working at all. It would make
some noise like seeking noise for some time but it would never get
to start the spin and it would not read the cd. I tried few cds and
all the same. The garantie of my drive is for US and Canada and
when I went to Fnac they told me I have to change the drive and
have to pay 300 euros. few days later I put a cd in the drive and it
works!!! I try all other cds which did not work and they all work again!
Here the temperature was arround 31 degrees centigrade and humid.
Could that have cause the problem? Tonight I put a cd and same thing
happened. I opened and closed the tray and it read it again!!!

What do you guys think is causing this and what should be done?
