Hi. Just wondering if anyone has solved this problem. I just purchased a SZ120 and my bluetooth has turned itself on as well. I have reformatted the laptop 3 times each time it does the same thing all on it's own. I also had a little green icon in the task bar that allowed for the toggleing of the bluetooth and wireless radios . It has just disappeared when the bluetooth turned itself on and left me with a "blue" colored bluetooth icon which upon opening does now offer any options to turn the bluetooth off. The bluetooth does go off when I manually toggle the hardare switch off (as does my wifi). The little green icon is an app called wireless switching app located in the sony folder but executing this app does nothing. I am quite frustrated with this and would love for ameone to be able to tell me how to turn off my bluetooth while leaving my wifi on. Thanks in advance for anyone that can help.

It is a bit of a trick to get that little switcher utility to work after doing a "clean" install. I'm not sure if anyone really knows how to do it yet. The only sure way to get it back is to "restore" using recovery discs or the recovery partition.

Thanks. Yes I have figured that out. I have restored to factory stae and it is fine. I also than methodically reinstalled my software with restarts every time only to find out it was gone after installing spysweeper 4.5. This after my search of these forms has been unfortunately exoperienced by other users. So I am doing a factory restore and I guess know more spysweeper.

Yeah, I've seen the other threads. Good luck with that.
