    Hi all,

I have an oldish Sony laptop S1XP and recently the CD-Rom has packed in. I then went out and bought an external one which works fine in Windows. The problem is that I have no idea how to boot from the external CD-Rom, I've had a look in the BIOS and the 'Boot from external optical drive' option which exist in my new laptop doesn't seem to exist. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

    Will.
