    Bought TZ31WN through Ebay...

    and got it yesterday but in the package there wasnt any receipt as the seller promised me and since yesterday he doesnt answer my emails.That way i cant register my vaio.Is there a way to buy a new warranty?

    the seller stated in the auction that the laptop was a few months old. So, if he is the original purchaser of the laptop, I believe he should be able to transfer the remainder of the warranty to you. Once the warranty is under your name, you should be able to extend that warranty. At least that's how it works in the U.S.

    Exactly!!!!That is me!But how can he transfer the rest to my name.He lost the receipt but he will try to get another copy from the store he bought it he said.I registered today the vaio knowing the date of purchase and store.

    Well, I hope he is able to find the receipt. If not, you could always just work with Sony directly. If he bought the laptop from them originally, they should have details on the sale. Otherwise, based on the serial number, they would know when the laptop was shipped to the store from whence it was purchased.

    I hope that tooo!!!!How can i transfer it to my name??Also the laptop was bought in UK.Am i going to be able to use the warranty in Greece(I live here)?It belongs to Europe too.

    Sorry, that I can't answer for you as I'm in the U.S. I think you should contact Sony directly and they can answer your questions and hopefully help you out with the warranty.
