Has anyone swapped out/opened up their SR to look at the ram?
Yes i know its DDR2 800mhz Ram, but i would like to know the brand/Model type...

I want to buy an additional 2gb or 1gb stick and would prefer to keep the same brand/specs, otherwise i will buy a 4gb kit(which is more money...and i don't want to do that!)

It will tell me the brand of my Ram? I'm not looking for the speed/dim/frequency of it, i know that much, i just simply want to buy an identical stick without having to pop open the notebook(more then once of course...when i do upgrade the ram)

Have you tried it ? It gives the brand of the memory chips....
So, you can buy any RAM that uses those memory chips.
The generic memory board doesn't matter, its the memory chips that matter.
