I replaced Vista x64 with XP x64 on my Vaio FW490J because Vista is just plain slow. Anyways it was a one way operation, meaning I can't go back (and don't want to). I have all the drivers working except for the brightness control for the screen. I've tried all the Vista x64 "Sony Control" drivers (note most of the drivers I used were Vista x64 and they worked). Please help me with this

Go back to Vista. There is no support for 64-bit XP from Sony.
