    Hi guys,

as you can see in the pictures at the end of this post, I've managed it to break my Sony TZ's screen.
So first of all, I want to share my pain with you ;-P and then I have to teach you:

NEVER leave your notebook on the floor! Not even for just a little second!
You could simply forget about your notebook, next to your couch, and a nice "CRRRC" is not the reminder you want. ;)

Do you think there is any chance to "repair" that?
I'm asking, because I have the feeling, that the black "stuff" you can see, is something liquid that I could just smear away.
A little "massage" (gently rubbing the cracked parts with a finger) was a little helpful, so I thought I might just disassamble it and smear that liquid stuff away.

What do you think? Will it kill me? Will I kill my Notebook?

It don't want to use this notebook like this for months, just a some weeks until I get my new notebook (Vaio Z).

thanks for your time and help,
    best regards,

The liquid is what makes it work, you can't smear it away...your only option is to replace the panel.

The black stuff is the liquid crystal, the black marks will be get bigger with time as it leaks through the cracks.

Also if you disassemble it there is a good chance you'd stuff it anyway, LCDs have about 5 layers of plastics in them and are not really open-able (well you can but you'll never get it back together perfectly)
