I just got my SZ340P through Best Buy for Business. Pre-configured with XP Pro. Love it -- better than my old Acer 8200.
BUT...
I can't get my Brother Printer Installation to work. It goes through the process of installing (I've tried both the disk, and downloading the installation program, which I think are both the same version), and it simply crashes, blue screen, windows stop error at the end of the install every time. Then I can't uninstall it.
Googled around and found this may be a conflict with the on-board Vaio camera drivers, but no solution found online. Called Brother, and it's now up to "Level 5" support, but no call back.
I still can't print. The same installation disk and printer worked fine on my last computer (the acer.)
FYI, Brother's "Level 4" support gave me the following link, which I assume may be a workaround:
http://209.215.81.199/Download/MFC/FX0933/FX0933BH3e.exe
But after downloading it, it tries to unzip itself and says it has a bad header.
I've tried that several times, with different browsers.
Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks,
-dpincali, hoping to live to print again.

I had no problem to download this file. I've uploaded it for you as a rar file here.
I'll keep my fingers crossed. -
Visioneer -- WOW!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you -- now, I can print again.
I downloaded that file four times before you did whatever you did, and each time I went to unzip it, i got a "bad header" message.
I downloaded yours, and it worked like a charm.
Many thanks for solving a very annoying problem.
Warm regards,

All's well that ends well!
