    Built-In Mic Difficulties

    I love my vaio...but I'm not so sure it's loving me back...

    The built in isn't the sound quality that I really want, so I'm trying to use a peripheral USB mic. But when I plug in the other mic, I get massive feedback, from the built in, which apparently doesn't automatically disable like the speakers do...

    so I start on the long and frustrating road to attempt to disable the mic..I've even manage to frustrate sony's support gurus. Go me...still frustrated, lol.

    Has anyone else been in this situation?

    I have an FJ270, bought it last year. love it to death, really I do.
