I have Vista. When I went to the mainland, I went to the Sony store they made me a winxp restore cd. I decided to try it now, but it won't autoboot the cd1. I see all the data on it. Is there any way to "kick start it"?

Did you set the booting order, i.e., DVD first, and HDD second? Press F2 while you are booting to change the booting order.
