    Buying Memory for TZ 11. Generic or Sony?

    Sony uses different kind of memory from Samsung, Hynix, Infineon, Quimonda and whatsoever.
    They are not in the memory market, so the put different stuff in there, like Dell and Toshiba, too.

    You should be safe to use every module on the market (except some real crap), as long it is compatible to your socket, which means DDR2 SODIMM with 200Pins.

    Get a good brand like the ones mentioned above and you will be fine!

    You do know that the TZ only has 1 memory slot right?

    That means if you want to upgrade to 2 gb, you need to buy a 2gb stick.

    And yes, you can buy generic.

    I don't catch if I really misunderstand what you mean,380 euro?It means as much as $490? what a ridiculous price! let them rob the bank instead,go to hell!
    just make sure you buy the well-known brand,there isn't always any compatibility problem,after you've installed it,check the system property make a confirmation of the correct capcity has been detected.then run some memo.testing apps.in the end.
