    Buying SZ 110/B with XP Home and upgrade to XP Pro - is it possible ?

    I dislike XP Home notebook, but they are 100 cheaper, so would it be possible, to wipe out the XP home and do clean install of XP Pro, and then manually install micellaneous needed software from Sony provided CD's or so ...

    is this possible, to cherry pick the utility software you need (like the webcam software etc) ... if not then any other solutions ... or will I really have to buy notebook with XP Pro built in.

    more like $50 difference. I would just get the 120.

    You don't want to deal with the hastle and heartache. Just spend the extra $$ for a machine preloaded with Pro.
