    Hey guys, I was just looking at the Sony website, and really fell in love with their F series. The configuration I managed to configure was the following,

    * No Additional Video Editing Software
    * Intel® Core™ i7-720QM processor (1.60GHz) with Turbo Boost up to 2.80GHz
    * 16.4" VAIO Display (1600x900) with NVIDIA® GeForce® 310M GPU (512MB VRAM)
    * No Fresh Start
    * Microsoft® Works
    * No additional Photo Editing Software
    * 4GB (4GBx1) DDR3-SDRAM-1333
    * Blu-ray Disc™ player/burner (reg. price $180.00)
    * Norton Internet Security™ 2010 (30 Day Trial)
    * Keyboard Backlight
    * Standard Capacity Battery
    * Black
    * No Engraving
    * Genuine Windows® 7 Professional 64-bit
    * 500GB Hard Disk Drive (7200rpm)

    The price for that runs me at about $1,330.78 including tax.

    I intend to use my laptop for gaming, watching hd movies, video editing, photoshopping, and web browsing.

    The weird thing is that I saw other people who configured the same laptop with these specs,

    * No Additional Video Editing Software
    * Intel® Core™ i7-720QM processor (1.60GHz) with Turbo Boost up to 2.80GHz
    * 16.4" VAIO Premium Display (1920x1080) with NVIDIA® GeForce® GT 330M GPU (1GB VRAM)
    * Fresh Start
    * No additional Office Software
    * No additional Photo Editing Software
    * 6GB (4GBx1 + 2GBx1) DDR3-SDRAM-1333
    * Blu-ray Disc™ player/burner
    * No additional AntiVirus Software
    * Keyboard Backlight
    * Standard Capacity Battery
    * Black
    * No Engraving
    * Genuine Windows® 7 Professional 64-bit
    * 500GB Hard Disk Drive (7200rpm)

    I'd really like if I could get the premium high resolution display of 1920x1080 and the way better graphics card. The 310M simply won't do as my HP 5 year old laptop has a GeForce Go 7600 ranked at 130, and the 310M is only ranked at 109. That's not really acceptable. Those ranks are from this website
    Notebookcheck: Mobile Graphics Cards - Benchmark List

    Do you guys know how I can get the better configuration?

    Also, do you guys have better suggestions for a laptop or is this one good enough for the money?

    I'd like it if it had,

    i7 processor
    Blueray player + burner
    Built in webcam (not really necessary)
    A good graphics card with at least 1 gb dedicated ram.
    USB 3.0
    Sata III technology (not really necessary)
    HD display with antiglare

    Thanks in advance!

    Don't cross post.

    If Sonystyle doesn't have it in stock, try to find the same configuration elsewhere like Newegg, Bestbuy, and other stores. You can also wait for the next F series refresh.
