Morning, all. I just recently was given a CA290X which, while nice, unfortunately is pretty much bare-bones in about every regard.

    i5-2410M
    320GB
    1366x768
    4GB
    Intel HD Graphics 3000

While the numbers aren't bad for a gift, the lack of the available 6630 makes me wonder if I should even hang on to this (yes, I game). That and the black color are the primary "turn offs" for me.

I'm considering trying to make a little off of the unused unit and build a clearance green CA290X while they're still around, upping the resolution, graphics, and HD. The only downgrade will be from the i5-2410 to an i3-2310, as the i5 is out of stock now.

Long story short, I'm looking for opinions on if I should keep this one or just try to make a little off the one I have and build the green one wile it's still available and switch the CPU later. As I've followed this series forever, I know I can put an i7-2620 in it but haven't seen any complete dissasemblies done yet. Does anyone know if this ever happened? I tried searching on here and outside but couldn't find anything. Thanks in advance.
