    Hi

I have just bought a SONY VGN-C260E/BC 10 days back.

It is constantly making two sounds.
One is the hard disk access sound which comes whenever the hard disk is accessed.
Another one is a squeaking sound. I think this could be fan sound but I am not sure. coz I am able to hear it from left as well as right side. This squeaking sound comes when my laptop is on battery mode. When it I use notebook in adaptor mode there is no squeaking sound.
There is one more sound of fan actually being started that comes whenever the fan is being started.
So is this squeaking sound bad? How do I stop it?
Or should I return the laptop? :(
