A while back, I think I accidentally messed with the smartwi application that came with my Sony Vaio, and probably corrupted the files due to an inproper installation. Now, everytime I log on to windows, two error messages pop up saying CCP.exe error and something about SmartWi.exe error.

How can I fix these or at least remove these constant notifications?

The way i see it, there are two possible fixes.

    1. Is there a way to simply prevent windows from trying to start these programs at launch which would remove the notifications?

    2. Does anyone know where I can reinstall this smartwi application so that it CAN start normally?
