Could anyone tell me whether or not Call of Duty 4 is well playable on a Sony Vaio Z? What quality settings can it be comfortably played it. Is adopting a lower resolution necessary (probably..)?

    Thanks!

edit: What about Age of Empires III?? Should run perfectly smooth?

I play it in Speed Mode, 12xx by 768 resolution or something similar like that

I have alot of stuff on low, or off, (ie, AA, specular, shadows) but I get an average of 30fps when playing online, and 35fps when playing campaign

I never played any COD game actually... Would you suggest playing an earlier version (e.g. COD3, 2 or even the first release)? Or will the game not run much smoother anyway and will the multiplayer part of the game only have far less 'activity'?

    Thanks for your insights!

Do you want to play for multiplayer, or singleplayer?

Whatever runs well; preferably both, but if either one runs much smoother than the other, it's fine to stick with that.

I have a Z520 and it runs like crap... No surprise there, though :)

Gaming was not meant for this system what-so-ever.

Ok, I'm far from a realy gamer (nowadays anyway... :p) but like to have something installed to help in killing some time from time to time. :)

What do you think about COD1, 2 or 3 (singleplayer mode)?
What about Age of Empires (III)?
Any game someone would advise that does run well on the Z and is rather enjoyable at the same time?
