    Hello all,

I'm new here with a 1 month old CR240E/B. I've really been pleased with this notebook, and i'm surprised at how well vista is working out for me (i beta tested vista in 2006). And besides the cheap screws that break easily, I was wondering what program exists for Vaio's to control the cpu fan speeds. I had a program from a 3rd party for my old dells, but none seem to exist or work properly for sony.

I've already done a search through these forums and there have been some old discussions about using speedfan etc. I've tried and still, those programs do not work to control the fan speed. So after rifling through pages and pages of threads, i still could not find any results.

So any input would be greatly appreciated. I feel my processor is running warmer than it should, and that the fan should be on more often (on the slow speed).

    =)

NHC does not do fan speed, and with duo core i rather not tweek the cpu voltages etc.
Speedfan as i stated, could not identify any fans on my computer and only gave me temperature readings.

I will try Riva Tuner though. Thank You.
